Process and craftsmanship

Design

Every piece begins with a hand-drawn sketch, where we let our creativity flow. It’s a process we love: thoughtful, a bit playful, and always with the goal of making something unique.

Next, we build a prototype, tweaking proportions, testing finishes, and fine-tuning the details. We want it to look great, feel right, and actually work in everyday life. Beautiful, functional, and a little unexpected.

Materials

We use FSC and PEFC certified hardwoods, carefully selecting the best wood for each design based on its strength, beauty, and unique character, whether it's Ash, Oak, Beech, or Walnut,

Our other materials, from sturdy cast iron legs to high-quality metals, glass, and fabrics, are handpicked to make sure every piece is sustainable and built to last.

Craftsmanship

Our workshop is all about hands-on craftsmanship. No assembly lines, no mass production, and definitely no CNC machines. We have basic workshop machinery to aid us as every leg is individually-turned, every piece cut, shaped and assembled by one pair of hands.

We work with the character of the wood, not against it, celebrating knots, grain, and natural quirks that make each piece one of a kind. Even the brass dowels are fitted by hand, because we believe the quality really does show in the details.

Our Story

Finishing

Once the structure’s built, it’s all about the finish. Each piece is carefully sanded and prepped to bring out the natural grain and get that perfect texture. Then we hand-finish every inch with our unique finishes, not just for the beauty of it, but so we can make sure every detail meets the level we’re proud to put our name to.

It’s the final step, and the one that really brings everything together.

Quality Control

Before our pieces leave the workshop, we give them a thorough once-over. Every joint, leg, and finish is scrutinised for production imperfections, no room for "good enough."

We’re ridiculously picky, but that’s how we ensure you get furniture built to last.

Lead Time & Delivery

Our lead times vary depending on the design. For designs like CityFarm, we aim for a 2 to 4-week turnaround (depending on size and order). Designs, like Colpop, can take up to 6 weeks, as the finish process needs more time.

Once your piece is ready, we deliver it ourselves, no couriers, no middlemen, so it arrives safely and exactly as it left the workshop.
